Default SS Inserts: Do they guarantee the letters not falling off?

I thought I'd heard that they guarantee the letters sticking . Do they send a replacement if so or am I out to lunch?

My "R" from SS Inserts didn't stick too well the first time around so I emailed Barry and he sent me a new one. I cleaned the crap out of the recess again with a Q-tip and denatured alcohol and the second one stuck better but not perfect. If it starts to come off again they're history.

Any problems I've heard with these is almost always the "R". They seem to have under cut it a bit. It's the most difficult to cut and program so that's probably why the problems. They need to create a bit more clearance so it falls completely into the recess - maybe scale it up a few %.

Yep, mine was the "R" as well. Got mine to stick with my own special formula.

My SS letters are fine.

I've had the point on the R get caught on some towels while I was polishing the back of the car. It looks like the letter wants to pull away from the tape (not the tape pulling away from the car). But it is fine for now.

And if it gets worse, I know with a phone call I can count on SS Inserts to send me a new one.

I too had an initial issue with the R, but Barry sent a new one and all has been great for nearly 2 years now. He backs up his stuff 100%

He sure does, he's sending mine out today. He responded to my email very quickly yesterday...that's awesome customer service.

Thanks Barry.

Barry's a great guy, although I never had a problem with my R. I guess some people just do things properly the first time.
