Has anyone participated in this recall program? The information can be found on the nhtsa site: www.nhtsa.dot.gov, campaign id # 04V060000. This document contains details about the problem and a schedule for owner notification. There is also a link to the original GM recall bulletin draft, from this site. My car is at a local dealer with the steering column locked. After the car is fixed I am still going to install a bypass. Wish I would have known about this problem before it locked up.

 

I just bought an o4 coup . I have 45oo miles on it and the damn sterring column service light came on at least it did not lock up like other people have had. I think this is bull **** for this to happen.
