Battery Tender
I am in the market for a Battery Tender and trying to decide between the junior and the plus. Is the plus worth the extra $25? What's the best prices out there for these?

Call MAW @ 1-800-241-2222, or do a Yahoo search for them. I bought a Plus from them a couple of months ago for $33.95. With shipping I believe it was about $42. 
This was by far the best price I found. If you have problems finding them, send me a message or e-mail. Whatever you do, don't buy a Sears battery maintainer. I bought one first and it wouldn't work with my Optima.

A VDC Battery Minder or a Deltran Battery Tender Plus are what
you want. The Battery Tender Plus is designed to charge the
AGM batterys that many of us had from the factory. The
Optima is also an AGM battery.

I got mine from one of the motorcycle magazine advertisers for 33 dollars also. It is the battery tender plus. I see they have a 4 unit
central charger with 25 foot cables for us multi-car owners. Only price I have seen is around $220 form Eastwoods. It is new.

I use the battery tender also, but bought a lighter adaptor from Batterystuff.comm. Rather than using the clips on the battery terminals, I just plug it into the lighter socket. They make an adaptor for this for around 4 or 5 bucks.

What about the difference between the battery tender junior and plus? Also can you post the link to harbor frieght? I don't find the battery tender when I search http://www.harborfreight.com/ .

with that or the VDC electronics Battery Minder. You can
leave either of these on the battery indefinately with no
fear of damage.
