Default Front end protection

I have to drive about 130 miles twice a week to my current client site for work. The drive is through a barren stretch of highway in Illinois (I-55 South to Bloomington for those that know the area), and I pick up quite a few bugs on the way down and back. I usually just wash the car immediately after the trip, but eventually I'm sure these bug chips and possibly rocks that I pick up are going to look like crap on the front end.

What options do I have for covering it with something, if even only for the drive down? I do not like the looks of a black bra for the car, but I'd be willing to put up with it just for the drive down and back to avoid damage to my car. How hard are these to install/remove?

Are there any decent "clear" protection options available? I've heard of a few, but don't have any idea if they are easy to install/remove, and how it looks on the car.

Any other options? I appreciate any feedback...

-John

3m makes a clear paint protectant film. I have it on my vette and its difficult to detect. I can see the seam but I know where to look and in my opinion its worth it, and yes I wax it. It was on the car when I took my sig pic.

I had it installed by the same folks who applied my glass tint film.
