Default Headers cats and x pipe

I have a 99 A4 with Borla Stingers and a Halltech intake. Can anyone recommend a set of headers, high flow cats and x pipe, to make my car louder, especially at idle?

I have a 98 6 speed with Borla Stingers. I have purchased a set of LG headers. I just ordered the high flow cats because I heard this set up is very loud. I will post after my install but I think you would be happy with the sound of this system.

Good luck.

My recommendation is to get the KOOK's set up (including their X pipe).

Look in the Parts section as there was a GP going on.

I have it in both Verts, absolutly love it!

Good luck on whatever you decide.

I've been considering the Dynatech headers, X-pipe and high flow cats.

I went with TPIS LT headers and Random Tech high flow cats/xpipe and love the combo. That along with an LS1edit I dyno'd at 338 max power and 347.1 max torque before Chris at ECS bumped the timing a few degrees to squeeze another 2-3hps.

I have the LGs with the 3" Xpipe 3" Random Tech Cats and 3" intermediate pipe breathing into a Corsa Indys system with the pro tips. The idle is awsome the Motorboat sound of the Corsa indy is gone and it is a nice deep throat gurgle. normal driving they can be heard, but not bad, and at WOT they are loud to say the least. The HP gain from the LGs in not bad and they are a great company to work with also!

Go with the LG system nose to tail and you won't be sorry.

Hi,

I agree

We have free shipping on our LG pro Long Tubes right now. The sound of the LG Pro Long Tubes is great also. It is like comparing a 6 string guitar to a 12 string guitar. Our 3" X pipe blends the sounds from each side of the engine.

As a bonus, the hp from the LG pro long tube headers was enough to propel the 3 fastest Corvettes in the most recent SCCA World Challenge race last weekend.

Plus the LG Headers are the only ones with a race style 3" "Merge collector" connecting to a 3" X pipe, then full 3" Random Metal matrix cats ( the highest flowing cats on the market, available for the Corvette) then to full 3" mid pipes all the way to your mufflers. It is the only complete 304 stainless steel 3" system available for your Corvette.

Also keep in mind that our High Quality system is manufactured by BORLA exclusively for LG Motorsports.

Give us a call any time.

Thanks
