Air bag question
I'm a regular in the C3 section, but my Dad has a 97.
I remember turning off the air bag on the passenger side so I could take my son, then 1 and in a rear facing child seat.
This weekend Dad let me take it for another cruise with my son, who is now 4, and I could not find the off/on switch.
Am I losing it, and there is not one?
Am I thinking of another car?
Man, I hope this happening to me at 36 is not a sign of things to come.

In the glove box, and the light is on the console. I have an '03 but I recall someone saying you couldn't turn it off until '98 or '99.

The passenger side airbag cutoff switch came on the mid-'00 model year. Unless your Dad has had a kit installed, you cannot turn off the passenger air bag in his car.
