I'm about to get my Z06 Ti Cat Back and need some help in how to make the swap, on my '03 Vert. I would like to do it myself.
A search on the fixed roof coupe site came up with a how to but the guy suggest to cut the passenger side pipe at the muffler to get it off. I don't want to cut the OEM pipe. has anyone done this swap without cutting?? how much work is it. How long did it take?
Can I do it in my garage with a floor jack and 2 Axle stands??

Damn....no cutting need for a cat-back. You have to drop the sway bar and the car needs to be adequately lifted to get that over the axle pipe off. I don't think jack-stands will be high enough....but not sure.
I watched them do mine and it literally took less than 15 minutes to get both sides swaped. Helps to have a lift, though. I've heard the back end has to be at least 3 feet in the air to allow enough clearance. Also makes a difference if you have an A4 or MN6. A few more things to get out of the way with the A4.
A car with an A4 is trickier than the MN6. You're gonna need a minimum of 36" clearance to get it out of there without cutting it up because of the bend you'll need to make to clear the tranny. Plus swinging down the anti-sway bar.
Removal and installation on a six-speed is much easier and doesn't require swinging down the bar.
It would be much, much easier to do if you can find someone with a lift.
I did my own. the swapping part was very easy, but you really have to lift the back... i think the bottom of the bumper was 33" off the ground before i had enough clearance to twist the pipes out.
If you can find someone who can lift it up for you, that's best.
