Default Custom Paint Job

I am thinking about putting a custom stripe on my black C5. I like the commemorative edition striping so I'm thinking instead of silver stripes with the red outline doing plum crazy purple stripes with a silver outline. I have a glass top though so I'm not sure how this would look. I know it's mopar colors but I'm thinking it will look pretty sweet. any ideas.

Instead of painting them, I would just buy the (Z16 like) stripe kit from forum vendor and member mike76002

He can do them in virtually any color scheme you'd like...and if you end up not liking it, you can simply remove them.

The cost difference between that and painting them on will be huge.

Thanks for the info I sent him an email on it. Have you seen this type of work on cars before? Does it look professional or are we talking an obvious stick-on stripe of some sort?

Not sure what they cost but many guys have them here and they look great...cost of a custom paint job done correctly can run you between 10 and 20 grand easy

I've seen them on several cars and they look really nice. They seem like a good quality, too. I don't think they're very expensive, either.

Is it an adhesive sticker, how dificult is it to remove if you find you don't like it. Also, anyone have any pictures of this on a white vert?

I'm still waiting to hear back on my email to Mike sounds like it may be better of to go with his CE stripes than painting. I have a guy in my vette club that does custom work (he turned his 04 Z06 into a vert!!) He said he would do the striping for around a 1,000 for me, I've seen his work it's pretty impressive.
