CLB lockup questions

Bought my wife a 99 convertable. Dont want the lockup problem......what is a CLB, where is it sold and install is easy/hard?

A CLB is a module that you install whcih tricks the computer into thinking that the column is locked when it isn't. It is not too hard to install - I just did mine last week and it took about 30 minutes from start to finish. Hardest part is getting to the area to install. I got mine from Thunder Racing.
