Have barely put 500 miles on 2002 vert and still getting use to it. Notice that the oil pressure gage was reading below 40 lbs, also scrolling thru the gage menu it looks like the pressure is about 38 lbs when hot and running. Is this low? What is the average pressure that your C5’s are indicating, idle and running?
on hot days many people see 16 psi at idle... GM says at idle 6 psi will be within spec.
On the tire pressure issue 38 is too high. Most people still running the GY EMT's are running 30-32 hot. I run 26-27 cold in the summer here in AZ and that keeps me pretty much below 32 hot. I have 22,000 on my runflats with even wear and they look like they'll go another 10,000.
