I am not the original owner of the vehicle. I purchased it last year. Does the above service mean that it was the column lock problem? Does this mean that it was repaired? Permanently? I have not had the column lock problem with this car yet and have been driving it for 10 months. Thanks all.
From the service history info, the column lock was replaced due to it locking and due to the date this was done (7/17/2000) it's safe to say this was just a standard "diagnose and repair" service, not any recall work.
I believe from your picks you have an auto tranny, so you should at least contact GM to have the lock recall performed that will disable it.
