Default Headers cats and x pipe

Will long tube headers, x-pipe, hi flow cats, a halltech intake, and Borla Stingers, be obnoxiuosly loud on a 99 A4 or will it be a 60's muscle car loud sound? How much HP will I pick up if I have it all dyno tuned?

The car will be noticably louder with all that installed.

I have the the Borlas Stingers Quad Rounds with X-pipe now....not loud..just right...sounds like what you would expect a Vette to sound like...Muscle Car cool...continual compliments....

I just ordered the LG longtube headers, Hi-flow cats....I will post when they arrive and are installed.

It wouldn't be obnoxiously loud, but it will be much louder. I've been told mine sounds like a clap of thunder whenever you start it. When she sits there idling, people will just stand there and say, now thats what a vette should sound like. What gears you have will make a difference too, especially at highway cruising speeds. At 75mph with 3.73s I am turning almost 2600rpm and with that same setup, she is loud enough that sometimes I would rather drive with the windows down to cut down on some of the exhaust sound. She kind of lulls me to sleep with the windows up. LOL

I have stingers on now by themselves. How much will the intake, X-pipe, hi flow cats, and headers, change the sound of the stingers?

The intake won't change the exhaust sound much. Just a slightly deeper rumble, but it's barely noticable.

The X-pipe will lessen the popping on deceleration. The hi-flow cats will free up the exhaust some, but without changing to a 3 inch exhaust all the way back, I doubt they will change the sound much. The tone of the car changed considerably at WOT with the 3 inch exhaust and hi-flow cats. She just absolutely screams now.

The headers will make the biggest sound difference. The car will get a much deeper tone and at WOT the car will just scream. If there is any resonance with the Stingers now, then it will be more pronounced with the headers but it may move higher in the RPM range.
