Depending on your starting point it's not likely that you'll be able to drop the front a full inch without cutting the bushings. On mine (see sig pic) I took the front bolts down as far as they would go without cutting the bushings. On the back I started with 8 or 9 threads showing and lowered it until only 3 threads were showing. The result was about 3/4" lower on the front and a full inch lower on the back. Little stiffer ride but not harsh by any means and the overall handeling was improved.
Good Luck!

According to the GM service manual each turn of the adjuster bolt is equal to 2mm or 5/64 in. change in ride height. So to drop an inch you need to turn the bolts 12.8 times. Enjoy!!

Be careful, I believe that is the change in the "trim height" specification which is the measurement of the lowest point on the ball joint to the middle of the front control arm bolt. This measurement is inward on the suspension and will be magnified as you move out on the suspension. Rule of thumb is every thread is 1/4 inch at the fender lip. You'll get no more than 1 inch (four threads with two remaining) on the stock rear bolts.
