Default Brushed aluminum dash

I came across the Brushed aluminum dash kit at the Corvettes of Houston website. Looks like a neat way to brighten up my all-black interior. Anyone have experience with this kit? Pics would be awesome!

Thanks.

I'll be interested in seeing pics as well, since this would be about the only interior mod I might consider.

I too would love to see this installed. Some nice high resolution photos would help sell these puppies. On the other hand I wish some one would make trim pieces out of the gauge bezel material to fit around the A/V vents. That would be a nice touch.

Don't do it! An all black interior is the only way to go.

Yes, do it! An all black interior is not the only way to go......look at the C6, 350Z, BMW, GTO, Grand Prix, Ferrari, Chrysler 300, Aston Martin, etc.

I don't like them either! All black is the way to go and the only way to hide any imperfections, nicks or dirt.

Default I have that dash but never installed it

I bought the dash before I bought my car. I saw it in a friends car with an all black interrior and loved it. Only prob is when I found the Z I wanted it had the mod red interrior. I never installed it because I thought it looked too busy. I think I paid around $200 for it but that was about a year ago. Its still in the box and I'd be willing to part with it for the right price. If any of you are interested shoot me an email. Thanks.

I think that adding some of these pieces might look pretty good. But I'm not sure how I would like adding all of them. It might be a bit too much. But I would still like to see some pics.

Is it real brushed aluimum or painted plastic and does it replace the existing dash pieces or just sticks on top? I would look to see a real brushed aluimum replacement kit for the interior.

I have been looking from small aluminum accents to cover just the edges of the AC vents also.... I just wanted a few other accents to go with the gauge bezel trim... If found a shift pattern plate for the shifter **** but I thought a small amount around the AC vents would be a nice touch too.

You already know the answer is glues on the dash just like the wood and carbon fibre kits. Who is going to sell a complete dash replacement?

The kit at Corvettes of Houston is real aluminum, I believe.

Install it an your car will look like it is wearing braces and a retainer. Brushed Al. is not for the inside of a Vette.
