Stingers are LOUD!
I just installed Bolra Stingers (quad tip) today on my C5 MN6 Coupe daily driver. Man, these things are loud! My first reaction was a devilish grin of satisfaction.
One question. I should have asked before I installed them but, there will be no problems with emmission standards when getting inspected, right???
Vrooom, vrooom!

No emissions problem at all. From that aspect, you can do anything aft of the cats you want.
And, the Stinger's aren't that loud. Compared to stock, yes they are, but in the overall world of aftermarket mods and exhaust, they are relatively tame.

I've got GHL and X-Pipe currently, but I'm headed for headers this fall: LG Longtubes, no cats.
If that ain't loud enough, I'm looking at Borla or SLP

If you're looking for loud bolt the stingers to LT headers with out cats.
Now that is loud. Trust me. I know from experience. Anyting above 2500 rpm and you will pulling cops from 2 miles away. This I know from experience too.
Congrats on the new sound. Enjoy
