Default A/C Question

I performed the "Fix" on my A/C last year which involved clipping the small tapered end off of the rubber 90 degree hose that comes off the firewall behind the passenger side head. I even clipped the other hose inside of the wheelwell on the passenger side in addition to sticking a wire tie in the A/C drain on the firewall to make sure it wasn't blocked. When I run my A/C, I never see any water dripping out onto the road or driveway. I see it all the time on my other two vehicles. I don't see any water buildup in the floor on the passenger side which would indicate a block in the unit somewhere.
What do you think? Anything to worry about, or just forget about it?
