What is the procedure for returning the column lock system to stock condition?
Can the CLB just be unplugged and the wiring harness reconnected, or does the column lock have to be cycled back to the "locked" position with the ignition off before the column lock can be reconnected?
Can the cigarette lighter adapter be used to cycle the column lock to the locked position, or does it only work for unlocking the column?
I have not seen any posts regarding reversing the CLB; however, I am curious why you are considering this.
I have read other posts that said cars had developed other problems that should have not been related to the CLB, but went away when it was removed. One member said he had removed the CLB to troubleshoot other electrical problems.
