I made my own and agree that it cuts down the noise and makes the cabin cool off more quickly too...

Partition Installed...
Installed my partition from z06parts.com. Andy really went out of his way to get it to me before a planned trip. Thanks!
What a difference it makes in the Z. It eliminates probably 50% of the road noise and all of the annoying drone. The price of the partition is directly reflective of the excellent quality, fit and finish. The color match is better than the pictures show. It looks factory.

I too installed a truck divider to see if it would cut the drone from the B&B PRTs that came on the car. I was skepticle, but man what a vast difference. The car is actually quieter than my coupe. That's a nice advantage the FRC has, the cabin can be tuned to eliminate most if not all of the noise that comes from the back of the car.
I bought the $99 Ecklers compression fit foam divider, I think it looks fine and it works, plus I didn't have to drill any holes.
No doubt Andy makes a fine divider, but I used the $200 saved to buy my Hurst shifter and VE short shifter boot.
