Odd "buzz like" sound from standing start
I have noticed a low level one second noise that occurs during a standing start, first gear on my 04 MN6. It is a very mechanical almost computer controled sound (reminds me of the sound in an airplane when sitting near the wing and the short whine sound that comes from the screw control of wing flaps). It's hard to describe--obviously from my feeble attempt here.

You might actualy be hearing the "marbles in a can" sound that is very common with the MN6 transmission and has been discussed many times on the Forum. If you're hearing this sound, just accelerate a little harder from a standstill and the sound will go away. It's annoying, but there's nothing wrong with your car.
