Here is a wave from Michigan. I wave all the time, even if I don't get one back. How else can we educate people?
But what's up with the parking lot "buddy system", I park my 45 day old Coupe, at the far end of the parking lot when I go to the mall or a store. It will be all by itself, when I leave, and there are at least 100 parking places closer to the door. When I come back in an hour, there are cars and big trucks, all around my car, many times other Corvettes will park by me. I don't mind except sometimes they park way too close! Anybody else notice this?

yeh, but I figure if they're parking back there then they wouldn't hurt your car. Regardless of whatever they're driving, they appreciate cars.
I live here is SW FL and I swear I'm lucky to get 1 out of 6 wave backs. I still wave though. Funny the look on some of the faces of people who don't wave back. Looks like they have no idea why I'm waving
SW Florida (North Havana) : 5 out of 6 dont yet know the American Dream
Cajun2kc5 is right...waves from JAX to Orlando to Tampa
That's it I've had it ... I've waved soo many times, at soo many people in vettes, and haven't had ONE wave back. I'm talking like highway travel, around town, other towns ... what gives!?
... ok I feel better.
you know you sound like a big boo hoo even posting such a thing lol
I usually wave, but I agree that fewer and fewer return the wave.
If they don't I just mumble something like "azzhole" to myself and blow it off.
The reasons and conjecture as to why people don't wave have been beaten to dust on this and the C3 Forums for ages...so I won't put anyone in pain discussing that aspect.
Parking lot "kin"
I thought if I would seek out another "well-maintained" classic car ('69 SS 396) to park by when I had to go into the store I'd be in good shape.
So, I parked next to it (well, within reason, mind you - 10 feet between! ) and got out and went into the store.
When I came back I got there in time to see the other driver leaving their cart on the high side of the parking lot, getting in and driving away. Yes, when I say "high side" I mean that it was ready to roll into mine!!!!!!!!! :mad :mad
So, who do you trust??
