i think that the practicality of bsm's outweigh the aesthetics far and away...however,for me,they gotta be the same color!!!

As I mentioned earlier, I saw a black BSM on a MY coupe once and the BSM is all I noticed. Your engine bay looks great but the contrasting BSM is a bit much for me. Glad you like it though.

I like my BSM's too but I couldn't think of a color that would look good with red. To each his own though

Hey i think its pretty cool, i mean, i dont have anything against it. If i were you i would DEFIDENTLY get the lower part of the rear facia painted black too!
Youve gotta keep up this red/black scheme, ive been wanting to do it for some time now too. Maybe look into powercoating your wheels black too? and tinting those windows?
just a thought,...
Keep those mods commin!

Looks like you hit a bug at high speed, do not care for it at all. That said it is your car not mine, you like, you keep.

Default There are certain things I would not do....

like the Bullwinkle rear wing

...but the chocie is yours.

I thought about adding the side vent gills and painting them black to contrast with my TR 01. It has to work well with the rest of the car.

I noticed the heat removing hood with black accents, so there is a theme there.

I just don't care for the BSMs period.

MOD AWAY!!!!!

Welcome to the forum , keep the red/black thing going though

I've done a lot of red/silver stuff which many on this forum think is rice, but I don't care

Please don't be discouraged by the naturally opinionated nature of the Forum. We're all enthusiasts and many of us are purists.

To put a point on it, MODS in general are a way to personalize your Vette. There's a gigantic market out there, just for the C5. The combinations are truly endless. What's important is that you're in the game and you're personalizing your car the way you see fit. It only takes a couple of mods to make your car truly unique. Which is the point, right?

But I can assure you, If you've got a mod in mind, post it here, you'll get endless opinions as to whether or not to do it. In the end, it's your car. Enjoying it is your job!
