Default Michlein Pilot Sports PS2 ....?

Supposedly "the BEST tire money can buy" as per Luke at Tire Rack..

Superior in ALL categories, of handling dry/wet, noise & ride comfort.

Anyone have them yet? Or your thoughts on these???

I'm about to get them on my car also, I was recommended them by John Page from 21st CMC.

I'll let you know how they work with my TT after they are on it.

I really want a set of these to replace my Kumho MX that I'm not very happy with. I'm just curious if the 255/40 fronts would be too small for my Z06 rims? Hopefully they'll make a 265/40. At least they have the rears in the correct size. I'd believe these are just as good as Luke says, Michelin has put a lot of devepment into their tires recently with their VERY successful F1 program. I'd bet a lot of that F1 technology they've developed went into these tires. I want a set, just don't want the 255 fronts to make my car understeer more than it already does, lol.

By that rationale, shouldn't we be buying Bridgestone tires? I would think that as well as Bridgestone does in F1, they would have a tire competitive with the PS2.

I don't think you have to worry about driving in the wet.

Will they ever make the PS2 tire in the proper sizes for my recently purchased CCW 5050a 19'' Wheels ? I ordered them with regular Pilot Sport tires 275/30/19 & 295/35/19. Would prefer to get the latest and greatest tire at the present.

Well, I've had then for a few months now, and all I can say is WOW!
compared to the "regular Pilot Sports"...

MAJOR difference in feel, ride, handling & comfort!

After all the posts I've seen on tires, I plan on getting the PS when my runflats finally wear out.
