OK, this may sound like a stupid question, but bear with me. Is there any sort of website where you can put in your car's VIN and get the list of options installed on the car? The only reason I ask is that I bought the car used from a dealer and they didn't tell me all the options on it. Thanks

You can get a copy of the original Window Sticker and/or a copy of the Build Sheet from the National Corvette Museum. (Costs a few $)
Depending on your year car, there is a list of the RPO codes on the glove box lid or in one of the rear storage areas.

Search for the "Born On Date" thread in this forum and put your Vin # there.
I did that and a very nice person got back to me with the date it was made, where it was sold, and what options I got with the car. They knew more about me then my Doctor....

Take the VIN to the dealer and they can run it in their computer system - they should be able to tell you the build date, all options and the service history.

A definite must if you bought a "pre owned" car. A new thread was just started.
Through this I found out that my '02 was originally purchased with a 6yr./75Kmi. GMPP warranty. I was able to transfer it into my name for $35.
I definitely owe SpongeVette a beer, or two, or three if I ever meet him

We owe Sponge Vette big time and we need to do something about it. I found thru him that mine has the same warranty. What's the proccedure for getting it in your name?

I went to a local Chevy dealer and got a transfer form. You will need the signature of the previous owner. The form also stated that this had to occur with 30 days of when the car was sold. I guess I got lucky as that was definitely not the case with mine, but I figured all they could do was return (or keep) my $35, it was worth the gamble.
Actually, I called GMPP, and they told me that there was a 95% chance that it would not be noticed that the car was sold more that 30 days before. So it was a calculated gamble
