Default Runflat vs. Non Runflat

What should I do? Runflat quote for 1 tire in Hattiesburg was $430. I know I can get them from TireRack for around $370 and still have to pay to get them mounted and balanced. I have AAA Roadside assistance and no spare. What would you do?

What does Run Flat vs NON Run Flat have to do with your question?

Sorry,
Should I go with a non runflat tire that I can get for half the price of a run flat. Got a quote for around $230/tire for non runflats.

If you are only having to replace one, go with the runflats. If you are looking to replace all four, then you can go with non-runflats - like you said, much cheaper. Tire pressure sensors will work also. Just remember, if you have a flat, be prepared to stop and get it taken care of.

Pay the tire shop price. You'll spend the $60 in labor getting the runflat from Tire Rack, mounted and balanced, and your sensor reinstalled. If you have to pay shipping too, you're way ahead by staying with the shop.

You DEFINITELY don't want 3 RunFlats, and 1 Non...

Assuming that the rear tire went flat, I'd replace both of the rears with nonrunflats.

If I decide to go with non runflats, I would replace at the minimum both rear tires and do the fronts within a month or so. Would'nt want 3 runflats with 1 non.
