Just got column lock recall notice
Just got the notice in the mail. I have a 98 with the A4. It says that they will remove the lock and the column will no longer lock. Will I have any problems if I do the recall?......Thanks

No, your the lucky one that gets to remove the lock. Which is the problem. The 6 speed guys have to keep the POS and get a reprogramming, so that the fuel will shut off when the lock fails to release. So go in and get it done. And count yourself lucky that you never experienced the column locking.
