Default NCM labor day event?

Will the Labor Day event at the NCM be worth attending if you are looking for ideas for modifications to a ZO6? Will there be vendors showing there products? I have never attended a NCM event. Thanks for any info.

Join Us For a “Celebration of Friendship” – September 2-5, 2004

What better way to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the National Corvette Museum, than with an event uniting, friends, family and enthusiasts for a look back on the Museum’s history and future! We invite you to join us for a remarkable event honoring you as our special guest!

Folks registered for the event can enjoy four days of exciting displays, road tours, parades, special video presentations of the Museum’s ground breaking, grand opening and past events, entertainment, and much more during this grand event in honor of you and your help and support! The event will also include the “Corvette Hall of Fame” induction ceremony and banquet where we will induct the “founders” of the Museum into the prestigious and elite group of recipients who have made a significant contribution to Corvette. Ray Battaglini, Darrel Bowlin, Jon Brookmyer, Dan Gale and Terry McManmon will be recognized for their hard work and dedication in seeing the Museum become a reality that would preserve Corvette’s past, present and future heritage. Tickets to be a part of the Corvette Hall of Fame are separate from your event registration and seating is limited. Be sure to include this activity when registering. You can find out more about our 2004 Corvette Hall of Fame Inductees by visiting our online release section here: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/press_...es/index.shtml

Each non-member registering for the event will automatically receive a one-year renewable Individual Membership to the Museum included as part of their $50 registration! They will be entitled to all member benefits during the weekend, including discounts in the Corvette Store, discount registration on other NCM Events, and will be contacted on how to renew their membership benefits at the end of the one-year period.

All current NCM members can register for only $10 per person. All Lifetime members will receive complimentary registration to the event festivities – but you must register to attend and receive the commemorative event badge included as part of the pre registration benefits. Pre registration ends at 5:00 p.m. CT, August 18. Everyone pre registered by the August 18 deadline will receive the specially designed commemorative event badge and lanyard, event dash plaque and lapel pin.

We will also draw a winner for a new 2005 Corvette Coupe and the last C5 Corvette Coupe, a Commemorative Edition as part of the event’s festivities. Tickets are available at $10 per ticket on the new 2005 Coupe and $25 each for the last C5 Coupe. Find out more about these exciting raffle cars and order your tickets here: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/raffle/index.shtml or call (800) 53-VETTE.

Many of the event activities are limited to a specific number of participants, so register early to be a part of all the event offers!

We look forward to seeing you at this memorable event and thank you for all you have done and continue to do in keeping us moving and growing strong! We will see you soon and are excited to celebrate 10 years as the National Corvette Museum with you!
