It is not that hard. I converted mine to a stick, buckmaster had his converted by ARE. A ton of guys hve done it. Call ECS I'm sure they are more than capable to do it. It is basically a bolt in operation. Don't let these crabby old men get you down it's your car do what you want. Andy

Just get a C6 then. I think they come w/ an auto option,no? The performance is similar. You can mod it a bit to equal the ZO6 if it is not already very close.

I can't stand people that just post and have nothing useful to say. Enough with the comments of he's crazy and the rollie eyes, he posted for some technical help if you can't give it directly, refer him to someone that can (like I am doing) if not just **** the heck up and move on. I know the vette doctors (Long island, NY) have done a Z06 convert to auto (forum name for this car is majorspray i believe), since I have seen the car run 9's many times at the corvettechallenge.info hope this helps and their site is thevettedoctors.com
for the record I personally dont have any work by them but do know of many that do and have been satisfied time and time again by their abilty. give em a call and don't let the other posts get you down

First off to each his own , I just tell the optimist's to "Grab A Lane" and then they can talk if they win . It's a pretty easy conversion it just needs to be planned right on Paper and with someone who Pref. did this before , I just swapped out parts with another Member on here that wanted to switch to a 6 Speed which saved both of us $$$$ in Parts , I just Upgraded the Converter and Beefed up the Tranny (crashed94--LEVEL 4) and bought a diff: harness for ease. All in all it will cost around $ 1800.00-2300.00 in Labor plus whatever parts You swap out.
