Pulled into a new housing development Friday night and the curbing had to be about a foot high.Misjudged and scrapted the front right bumper on my Vette. I hope the body shop can refinish just that small area.A minor damage but to a Vette owner it's seems more than that.LT

 

Could be worse....yes....they'll fix it fine........I hit a big raccoon 2 weeks ago and I need a whole new nose and now a blended paint job on hood and fenders

 

Two bad stories in one thread. Not good. We don't like to here of these crumby things happening.

 

I still remember my 1st scratch, scrape, etc...and it's nothing compared to the feelings I had when a bitch totalled my 1st vert

bah!!!! dropped the glass from the garage door on the rear hatch when I backed into the door..had to repaint the whole rearend.....

 

Do I detect some pent up anger??? It just could have been that time of the month, or she may have been freshening her lipstick... You have no compassion.
If that happened to me.. I would continue my well trained and empathetic manner.

Now I make it a point to park as far back as I can.

 

I hit the curb in a shopping center on saturday nite....scraped the top of it and had white paint all over the bottom of the nose and the two supporst underneath. Took it home and a combination of Zaino and Auto Grime remover it came off and no surface cuts observed.
