WHAT'S TOO LOUD? Sorry, can't hear you... hold on.
I'm seeking some last second advice on catback systems! I've purchased a 01' that has already been modified to include a cam, LG Pro long tube headers, and Borla straight pipes. LOUD!
I love driving the Vette whenever I can, but I've been waking up the neighborhood in the mornings and setting off every car alarm in the parking garage in order to get to the "safe" parallel parking spots on the top covered floor!
I absolutely have to get something quieter for the sake of my neighbors and coworkers, but don't want to go overboard and end up with a lack of "audible *****".
I've read a lot about systems out there, but was wondering if someone could put a ranking of aftermarket (including Z06) exhaust systems ranging from loudest to quietest. I know there is a lot of debate regarding which sounds the best, makes most power, etc... but figured those that attend the G2Gs have probably heard most setups to make an accurate comparison in that respect.
