C6 affect C5 prices?

C6 affect C5 prices?
What kind of affect do you guys think the release of the C6 will have on the value of the C5 market? When I had my C4 and the C5 came out the bottom fail out of the C4 prices. From what I have seen with the exception of the GS and CE C4's the prices never recovered.

This is not something to ponder or speculate on, it is something that has been going on for months now already.
CE Z06's (Z16) for instance were selling a few weekss ago around here for $12500 off MSRP. They still would be selling at those prices but they are all gone now. Dealer ahad about 10 of them 2 weeks ago, not a one now.
The used (pre-owned as many like to call them) C5 market has been THEE place to find steals of late.
I just may buy another this winter.........

Yeah I am trying to convince the wife to let me get one once the C6 comes out and the C5 prices go down. My truck will be paid for in March '05 and by then my '71 vert should be back on the road and near completion. I would like to get as ne of a C5 coupe as I can afford.

Here is my guess. I think the C5 prices will stay relatively stable for a while since the C6 will command MSRP or better for a year or two. Once the frenzy dies down, prices may drop again. At least, that is what I am hoping happens so my car's value stays up there.
