Who's had a good experience with installing a steering wheel decal and who did you get it from. I destroyed a silver one, from West Coast Corvettes today. The adhesive on the plastic protective film is stronger than the adhesive holding the decal to the wheel.....it was a good looking silver decal to. The decal wouldn't seperate from the plastic....The door sill decals did great. Any suggestions on the Corvette script for the air bag cover, would like cut letters instead of decals. Oh, don't order the vert deck lid protector from Mid America, it's too short, they know it and are still shipping them out.....they'll get back to me on that one.....needed to vent..

I bought one from Corvette Accessories Unlimited (CAU). This product is not a one piece design, but instead has multiple pieces that are put on separately. I have had very good luck with mine as it has been on for over three years with no peeling.
Here's a couple pics of how I did my girlfriends interior.
On the the steering wheel I put the one piece decal from Vette Essentials. It is very easy to apply and looks great.
I decided to paint the air bag letters with a paint pen. Her painted ones look ten times better than the decal letters I have on my Z06.
I got mine on ebay (I know it's a no-no) from a chap in Arkansas. He goes by 91zr1. Reasonable price and quick shipment, worked fine.
I have purchased the steering wheel, door sill, airbag door letters and 5.7L engine stripes from 91zr1 and am very pleased with all of them. Also, you don't get robbed on shipping cost.

Same thing happened to mine from WCC. It was a nice product but impossible to apply.

VE decal for me, but I did have problems. The first decal would not adhere. VE sent me a second decal and I let it sit 30 minutes before removing the protective film. Guess it wasn't warm enough when I attempted to install the first one.
I had the CAU decal on my 99 for over 3 years and it looked brand new when I sold it this past may.
Here's the most recent photo I took just before I sold it.
Mine was a 1 piece design from Design Specialties. Too bad they are not around anymore, they had high quality products. It's been 2 years without a problem.
