Did you try Edmunds.com Or Kelly Blue Book? It really depends on the area it's being sold and the condition of the car. Did it have it's rings redone yet?
The car is wrecked. I wouldn`t think that the rings would need redone with only 14,000 miles on the engine.
Some 01s had an oil consumption problem that required replacement of one (not all) of the rings. It was done under warranty. The 2002 engines had the updated ring installed while they were being built. The oil consumption problem was aggravated by a certain driving style so not all owners would have experienced it and not all engines were updated.
Well that changes things. Kind of important information left out concerning its value, don't you think? It's certainly less than what I initially was thinking it's worth.
