Default Silly Waves

Have you ever waved after your fellow vette has already passed? Better late than never

Have you ever waved at the oncoming vette only to discover it is an oncoming Pontiac TransAm? Hey, they have big meats and an LS1, so here's to you TransAm driver

Have you ever waved at a vette while driving the other car? This is especially embarssing when I'm in my son's ricer. The vette driver must think, "Damn ricer wants to race!"

Save the wave, silly and all.

A wave is a wave as long as you use all fingers!

All of the above including almost breaking my hand trying to wave out the targa top with the roof still installed!

When in doubt

A Corvette driver will spot and acknowledge the slightest twitch of the hand as a greeting.

A non-Corvette driver will think you're shooing a fly out the window.

1. I always wave ... especially since I'm usually the one passing. But I don't get waved back all the time. I just think they don't because they think I won't see it. But I do look for it.

2. I have accidentally waved at TA's, when I first got mine. I learned their RL's are much closer together than the C5.

I had a female passenger in another car wave .... then she lifted up her shirt ... Her high beams were on. I didn't complain.

On my way home yesterday I noticed another black vette behind me. I pulled into the right lane of the highway and slowed a little so he could catch up with me. I didn't even get an acknowledgement of my existence from the guy. I just don't get it....

No, but I have done something even more embarrassing.

I was driving home from work one night and saw a Millennium Yellow vette heading towards me. In my excitement I waved like I always do but instead of getting a wave in return, the driver game me a strange look.

I quickly remembered, I was driving my pick-up truck and not the vette.

Duh!

Same thing happened to me. But overall, most vette owner's will wave.

Unfortunately, there are some Vette owners who don't appreciate the car or the comradery the way we do.

Normally when I get dissed on a wave it's by some one talking on a cell phone with their toupee flapping in the wind. Some people don't get it, but that's ok cause I do!
