1. I always wave ... especially since I'm usually the one passing. But I don't get waved back all the time. I just think they don't because they think I won't see it. But I do look for it.
2. I have accidentally waved at TA's, when I first got mine. I learned their RL's are much closer together than the C5.
I had a female passenger in another car wave .... then she lifted up her shirt ... Her high beams were on. I didn't complain.

No, but I have done something even more embarrassing.
I was driving home from work one night and saw a Millennium Yellow vette heading towards me. In my excitement I waved like I always do but instead of getting a wave in return, the driver game me a strange look.
I quickly remembered, I was driving my pick-up truck and not the vette.

Unfortunately, there are some Vette owners who don't appreciate the car or the comradery the way we do.
There are some people who buy a car/statis symbol that happens to be called Corvette...All of us bought an American sports car and value the tradition
Normally when I get dissed on a wave it's by some one talking on a cell phone with their toupee flapping in the wind. Some people don't get it, but that's ok cause I do!
