So how can you compare the two when shooting for 450+ RWHP NA out of a 346ci? Prices are "close enough" not to matter. So you have a custom job done on the proven LS6 heads (2.055/1.60) or the AFR 210cc or 220cc with 2.08/1.6. Both are "bad _ss" heads; but there is little info in the form of direct comparative data. I am talking about real ET/MPH slips and not just Flow numbers from a bench. I sure could use some opinions here......
Custom porting and polishing of the AFR Heads is just begining and the results are a compelling virtual no brainer. Several people are getting 435-440 RWHP with AFR 205s right out of the box with nothing more than a moderate cam, 224/228 114 LSA and headers.
I'm making 395/381 with an A4, a stock TC and only a 220/224 cam and LGs. I like stealth power. Engine idles smooth as silk a 750 RPM.
