***GP for GM Factory Cables***
I've noticed quite a few folks that would like to hardwire their XM or Sirus into their stock Bose Headunit, but the price of the required cables is what seems to hold folks back on going through with it. (I know it's a factor for me...lol)
Well, after talking to Tuan, he has approved a GP on the required GM Cables. Due to the price that GM charges vendors for these parts, there is not much room to lower the price of the actual parts. However, Tuan is willing to provide FREE Shipping and Handling on these orders. We only need 5 people to take advantage of this offer. So what are you waiting for? Stop worrying about bleedover/static from your FM Modulator, and get hooked into your AUX button RIGHT NOW.
For those w/a Coupe or Vert w/factory CD Changer in the trunk, you will need part # "GM10-AUX".
For those w/a Z06, or a Coupe or Vert w/out the factory CD Changer, you will need both part # "GM10-AUX", as well as part # "GM_COR_HAR".

Allrighty folks. That concludes this Public Service Announcement. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
(So go order. Go on. You know you want to. It's okay. Just do it. Go. Now.)

Is there a GM adapter that has the headphone style jack output already in place?
OK, I'm in, how many more do we need?

The GM10-AUX hooks from your CD Changer harness into your Xm Commander. With this setup, your factory 6 disc changer is inoperative. You are basically bypassing the changer, and just replacing it w/the XM. You will access the XM same as you used to for the Disc Changer. (ie : press your AUX button on the headunit). You will still have full use of your am/fm as well as your indash cd or tape player (depending on what you have indash).
It is the lessor of the evils. I don't care for trunk mounted changers, and would rather have excellent sound quality from my XM. (And, I can still listen to CD's, just one at a time, instead of having the cartridge in the trunk).
The S/H fee will show up when you order. I will have it refunded before the charge is sent to your credit card. Thanks guys, I appreciate your business. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Have a wonderful weekend.
I would appreciate anyone willing to revive this dead dog and provide me with some additional info on the topic. Looking to add the XM this week sometime. I prefer to do it myself too as I don't trust any of the Audio shops around here and their teenage helpers with my car!
