Default New Kwiklift (pics inside)

After years of looking at them, I finally broke down and ordered a Kwiklift. I picked it up at the freight terminal last night. Brought it home and spent about 45 minutes putting it together - not bad at all considering I did it alone.

I ordered the black powdercoat and package including the cross members to I can use bottle jacks to further raise the entire car off the lift to remove the wheels. It looks great.

It was packaged very well and I can't say enough about their service. Danny at Kwiklift was very responsive and helpful in answering all questions. Absolutely first class all around.

My only complaint is that it can't be delivered to a residential address, but I'll live with that.

Here are a few pics (trying to resize these). I know I'm going to put this to good use.

It can lay flat also, so I think most of the time I will park it flat on there, unfortunately as you can see, I'm a little short on garage space, so that's the best I can do.

Very cool Dennis! Glad you got one! Pretty nice piece for limited space. That's about the size of my garage too.

Here's a look at the ramps I made to get my car up onto the lift when it's down and I have to park on it.

If you want help building these, I'd be glad to help.

Nice addition. You'll get lots of use out of the lift.

My car IS lowered but unless they changed the design of the KwikLift there is NO WAY you are driving a C5 up there with the lift in it's flat position without ramps made like seen in my pics.
Those pictures are of the KwikLift in it's lowered (flat) position. I park on it when not in use. Take another look at these pics.
