Hi Sponge Man,

Just purchased a 2001 Millenium Yellow convertible last week and saw that you're the man to go to on the forum for VIN deciphering. Could you do mine when you get a chance? My vin# is 1G1YY32G115122709. Much appreciated.

Thanks Sponge Man, Your info is fantastic. I did have the recall on the column lock looked after a couple of days ago. My car has the magnesium rims on it but according to your data it came with polished rims. This kind of explains why I'm getting a tire pressure monitor message in the information center. Turns out all of the tire sensors are damaged and as well, the right front rim is slightly bent. Bringing the car back tomorrow where I purchased it and they're going to send it to the GM dealer near them to have the rim and sensors replaced as well as have an alignment done (steering wheel slightly off center). I may look at putting the polished rims back on since they were part of the original equipment package just to keep everything to factory spec. I'm a little curious as my car does have a black leather interior but your spec sheet also shows code 19I - gray interior trim? There is no gray trim anywhere in the car except for the corvette lettering in the seats. Is this what the code means?

Thanks Again
