I am looking for a few pieces to finish off my engine compartment. Specifically I am looking for something to cover up the 'Master Cylinder' and the 'Alternator'.
I DO NOT want the stainless steel / chrome versions that everyone sells. Everything in my engine compartment is custom painted and airbrushed and I'm not real fond of chrome in the engine compartment.
Are there any other options out there? Anything made out of fiberglass or ABS plastic?
Even if I could find something out of steel or aluminum that would be fine because I could paint it but I'm not paying $150 for each piece in chrome and then painting over that.
They offer both the master cyl and alternator cover (painted, not chrome...although they also offer chrome). I've not seen their painted work, but their chrome stuff is very high quality.
If you are looking for the raw pieces to paint yourself, I would still advise contacting Bill about it. He's a nice guy and may be willing to cut you a deal on the raw covers.
