Default Best Cover and Storage Tips for TO

Live in Toronto and this will be the first winter for my baby. 2 quick questions:
1. What is the best cover for Nasty Winters. The car will be garaged but will have to deal with Temperatures from -20 to +10 Celcius(roughly -5 to 45 Fahrenheit).

2. What is the best plan of action for storage(again keeping in mind the nasty Toronto weather):
a) Store it and don't touch it at all winter
b) Store it ,don't touch it and hook up a battery tender
c) Start it once a week for 10 minutes
d) Something I don't know about?
much appreciated.

Default Best Cover and Storage Tips for TO

E.J,
I live in Richmond Hill, Ontario and it will also be the first winter for my 04. I will be purchasing a cover from:

http://www.huggercovers.com/

They are in Noblelton Ontario and make custom fit covers. I will be purchasing the heavy duty 100% cotton cover as it will be stored in my garage and not require water/snow protection. As for winter storage, I will be starting the car once a month but will plug in the block heater overnight before doing so. The alternative I was told and I am no expert, that it is important just to click the engine over to move the piston ring position to a different spot in the bore (therefore start up is not really necessary). Letting the rings sit in one spot all winter is not good for the engine??
In my opinion starting the engine is good for the engine seals so I will be sticking to my plan. We should get together sometime, drop me a line if your interested.

Definately get a VDC Electronics Battery Minder or a Deltran
Battery Tender Plus. You can leave either of these on
indefinately with no fear of battery damage.
