Problem with AM radio reception
Has anyone else had this happen with their BOSE system? Most of the time now when I switch to AM radio, there is no signal. There is an AM news radio channel up here which gives out awesome traffic reports every ten minutes, but for the last 4 or 5 days I haven't been able to listen, except once or twice when reception kicked in for a few minutes.

Check your antenna connectors at the front windshield (should be somewhere above mirror mount) and rear window (in the middle of the hatch at the top). I would guess that the rear one is for AM more than the front, since the front is just a dipole pattern (common for FM) and the rear is more intricate. I would guess maybe the connector to the etching is loose or came off.

I just got the car on Aug 7th and nobody has touched anything that would cause this. The problem just showed up a couple of days ago for the first time. I'll check the connection at the top of the windshield first.
