Default Black CE stripes recall ....

Hi,
Recently, I have couple buyers complained about their black stripes keep shrinking.
I have contacted Avery and they said that maybe there was a bad batch of black vinyl or so.
Avery will replace the black vinyls so I will replace y'all a new set of black stripes. Yep, only get the same color.
Here are what y'all need to do:
1. You will need to take 2 pictures: 1 showing your car with my stripes (front view is the best), and the worst spot that showing the shrinkage.
2. I will give 1 month for all of y'all to turn in your pictures.
3. After that, I will send y'all an email to ask to send me back you bad vinyl (just peeling them off and send them back to me in a free post office box).
4. When receiving your bad vinyl in order, I will start sending out your new stripes at no charge.
5. If you wanna premask bigger stripes now, it will be 30$.

So please email me at mikec5vert@hotmail.com with the topic of "Stripes recall" and I will give y'all more info where to send your pictures and other stuff.
Thanks,
-Mike

Mike just received my stripes in the mail. Do they know which batch is bad? Does not make sense to put it on and then have to take it off again. Please advise.

Yours should be fine so just put them on ...
It it does shrink in next couple months, I will exchange for free as well.
They don't know which one is bad.
Thanks,
-Mike

Mike

Can you get any more information from the as to what made the vinyl shrink up. I've been mulling over a buying a set of black stripes right now for use in the far away future but right now I'm assuming the black are shrinking due to the black color absorbing so much more heat and shrinking up? Would really love to see what the manufacturer has to say about how they solved it, thanks!

Julie, just let me know ...

From now on, all your installation must be a premask on the bigger stripes or the vinyl shop will not gaurantee the vinyl. That should be the right way to apply vinyl.
It was my mistake to not posting this when start selling the stripes and that why I am taking what ever set that got shrinkage issue.
With premask, it will make the installation job much easier.
Thanks,
-Mike
