You shouldn't have any code problems with the Blackwing. Save the programmer money. Add some more serious mods, then get it tuned with LS1 edit or the like.

Er, uh.. What I meant was nobody makes a device that works on more than one vehicle.

That's pretty much what I meant. They do make them to work on more than one vehicle, but not at the same time. You can load the software while storing your original. If you want to take it to another vehicle you have to restore your original on the first vehicle in order to use it on a second vehicle. Granted, the number of programs are limited as to which vehicle it can be used on.
The term "impossible"implies it can't be done, i.e., load multiple vehichles and multiple types. The technology to do this is available, as you could store every program for every known vehicle in a handheld device. The only reason it isn't done is that it wouldn't make business sense for the programming company as they would sell far less programmers.

Sure a device could flash more than one OBDII vehicle but as you said this would not be a good marketing strategy. When I said impossible I was referring to the current products on the market.
A Tech-II will flash more than one vehicle type, but it will only flash a stock tune.
In the end, the original poster got his answer. The product he wants is not available and unless someone wants a short lived business, it never will be.
If you're willing to go a little more hardcore with the tuning solution (as opposed to a handheld push-button-upload-tune type unit), there's a decent solution.
HPTuners makes a package that provides flash/edit/scanning for $499 which is a pretty good deal when you factor in all that it does. They have a 2 vehicle types package for $899, which gives you a little bit of a discount for the 2nd car/truck - "types" in the HPT parlance means a make/model/year, but you can use it on ANY car of the same M/M/Y (so mine for instance will work on all '03 vettes). So you could get your two-vehicle license to work on your Vette and Sierra
Generally, most of the software tuning solution companies offer a "pro" or "tuner" type license that allows unlimited use, but it's usually prohibitively expensive (the HPT pro/unlimited use is like $3K)
The upside/downside is you'll have a much more powerful tool than a handlheld tuner, plus a real scanner, but there's a much more steep learning curve!
