Default Difference between Z51 and Base package

The Build Sheet on my 00 Coupe says Option package - Base.
What's the difference between that and a Z51?
Is it possible to upgrade mine?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Don't bother unless your going to the track(bigger brakes, diff shocks) but the f55 susp. is worth the money if you require more riding comfort.and added resale value. I think you will be satisfied with the standard pack.

There is a pretty big difference between stock and the Z51 package in the car's handling.

But you can upgrade the stock suspension with different sway bars, shocks and springs (if you want to go that far).

I agree if your going to compete in auto-x or road courses you might want to add a lot to a base package. But just sway bars and shocks can provide a lot more fun handling the car on a daily basis, too.
