Valentine V1 now does POP?!

I've been waiting for my new V1 to be delivered today...it just arrived. A quick look at the manual, and there's a little addendum sheet in it:
About Your Valentine One Radar Locator
This V1 includes an advanced technology that provides warning when speed radar is used in the POP mode.
Full Coverage on POP
V1 covers POP on two bands - specifically the MPH Industries models BEE III (Ka band) and Enforcer (K and Ka).
POP Coverage is Automatic
There's nothing you must do to activate POP coverage. It's built in, and operates full time.
How to Identify V1s upgraded to two-band POP
V1 powers up with test sequence of warning lights and sounds. At the conclusion of the test, just before the mode indicator appears in the Bogey Counter, you will see a sequence of "P...o...P" on V1s with two-band POP coverage.
Well...well...well....

I haven't seen mention of this in any of the test sites...only that the V1 didn't detect POP...looks like they finally added it in?

Keep us posted OK?

ie.
America builds an Un-Jammable radar blocker for fighter aircraft.
Enemy makes a program to beat it.
The race goes on, and on, and on............
When is it safe for me to do 165mph in a 40?
Not that I need to

But if I can buy it, I will

My guess is that they either have not updated thier website to reflect the new changes or, they are conducting a customer field study on a soon to be added feature. Most likely being the website.
I figured that this was comming soon. I would also bet that it is only a software change, not a hardware one.
Have fun with your new V1, I am sure that it will save your @ss more than once!
AZC5

I would bet that this is brand new...very brand new...
So, other V1 owners...yours doesn't do this? Mine cycles through the various alerts and sounds, then displays a big P, followed by a little o, followed by another big P, then the mode indication and she's ready....
Well, with this update, as far as I'm concerned the V1 is the king of the hill again without question. Lack of POP was the only thing keeping it even with the X50 and RX65.
On a side note, I sure was enjoying driving around with it tonight and having it point to, and count out, the various radar's. At one point, I got a very strong X pointing ahead. 2 bogeys. Then I got a 3rd bogey on Ka. It made the "deet-deet" bogey lock sound, and the Ka started flashing along with the forward arrow. Then the side arrow lit, and then the back arrow, as I drove past a strip mall...all the while the forward arrow kept flashing and Ka beeping strong. X lights went out. Then about 1/2 mile up, whadda ya know? Yep...LEO...
Awesome baby!!

Awesome baby!!

******** Any new updates on the V1 and the PoP issue*********
