If my 99 is listed as 345 H.P., what is the actual rear wheel horsepower?

Depends on what transmission you have.

Just a guess, but assuming stock intake and exhaust, I'd say you're in the 305 - 315 range. Aftermarket intake and exhaust might add about 10hp together. I don't want to start a flame war, but some folks will tell you THEIR exhaust or THEIR intake gave them more HP than that..... whatever....

What? People do that here? Contend the system they bought is best?

I'm shocked, appalled, and in dire straights to hear that.

By the way, everyone knows my K&N system with a Corsa cat back exhaust is THE best. Or so I've heard

Probably anywhere between 295 and 300. Figure a 15% reduction from the 345 figure.

I was told 15% reduction from a manual transmission and 18% reduction through an auto transmission.

IIRC my 2004 Coupe with M6 was around 305.

A Mustage dyno would be about 276 rwhp or 25% off of the manufactures stated numbers.
