I heard that! I'm going on my third week with my brand new 04 vert and a black viper pissed me off last saturday! That got me thinking...what do I have to do to my vette to beat any vipers out there???

But anyhow, I'm still the number one fan of my C5!

I love AWD. I've driven a 3000gt VR-4 for a dozen years. The traction is incredible, even on a wet road! I've had my C5 for a year and it is still scary on dry pavement with the traction control on... I'm really careful on wet roads.

My dream car includes:

Sleek body. Very low cd.

Four wheel drive with independent electric motors that integrate AWD, regenerative breaking, and active handling. An adaptive system that allows power and braking to be controlled to the limits of the tires and road surfaces.

An efficient power plant that delivers economy when driven easy and is capable of very high output when you need warp speed.

Active aerodynamics to produce downforce even when stopped.

A price that I can afford!

Oh yea, a force field to keep the paint perfect!

I want C4 style pop up headlights that flip all the way around, and an 84-89 style digi-dash
C5 build quality, interior space, and ride quality. And a factory twin turbo setup, a-la LPE and the Callaway B2K cars.

One that does not have column lock, differential leak or oil consumption problems. Seriously, an AWD, 600+ HP and tires that stick like glue.

Well... looks like everybody wants an AWD vette.

I'll go against the trend here. I want the next Vette to be lighter, stiffer and more powerful. RWD is just fine with me. I want a car I can fiddle with. If they pack all the gadgets in there, it'll be hard to work on.

Electric motors equal instant torque...that would be awesome and WOULD require AWD.

With AWD, would we raise our cars instead of lower them? You know like a lift kit in a 4 x 4?!
