I am insanely addicted to driving my car now that i have put the nittos on! I never thought turning a car would be so fun, and i sure didnt know how first gear feels with a WOT hook before those tires. I left the house 3 times yesterday to test differnt stuff and to drive my beautiful car between 2AM and 6AM. Its getting crazy. I just thought id share my satisfaction maybe more of you would want to get them and enjoy ur life like the few that have them on already.
I am happy to read this! We are picking-up our car on Monday, with CCW Wheels & Nittos Race tires (18/285 front & 18/305 rear). It was ridiculous before, no traction under 60 MPH. Hopefully now we can go WOT a lot sooner & handle the curves of Road Atlanta better.

Trust me you will do everything you want to do with the exception of being comfortable in the rain
are the ones in the front R2s too? or are they just 555s?

Front & back are R2's. We hardly ever drive in the rain & when we do, we are very careful. If these nittos handle the track as well as I expect...I will be sooooo happy!!!

I went to Vancouver Island this weekend, and then went over to the west side of the Island. The road is a little over 110 miles of shear bliss. Twisties galore, and up and downs and over a mountain pass. This car is a thing to behold. I ran into a few people that got in the way but blew them off with no problem what so ever. Even had a guy in a Mazda who thought he was going to teach me how to drive. He took off and surprise surprise after a couple of corners and me right on his azzz and not going to loose me, he gave me an opening and I was gone and he never caught up. Amazing car and the nice thing about it is how safely all this was accomplished. Not like the old muscle cars that you took your life into your hands once you started trying to take corners.
I find myself taking the long way to get to where I'am going all the time. My 03 Coupe is soooo rewarding to drive. I also love the envious stares from other drivers. Today is going to be a beautiful sunny day. One of the few days it hasn't been raining. So I'am going to hop in my vette and go on a long ride to nowhere.
