Went back and forth between Wet Okole seat covers or doing it up
Vette Essentials 'style', but getting into the road coursing thang
moved into race seat territory. It's pretty common that the C5 seat
comes up a bit short in keeping your body center with the lack of a
real side bolster and lumbar support and you slide all over the place.
Enter the Corbeau A4. Black cloth with leatherette inserts on the side.
Will do the install this weekend and post more pics and how the
process goes.
Old seat
I have the Brey-Krause harness bar, so I'm ready to go.
Hi purerock105. Can you please measure your headroom with the
stock seats, and then with your new Corbeau's. I am looking also
to modify my buttocks, I need to get them lower so I can fit more comfortably with a helmet on for autocrossing. It will help me and
my fellow C5 owners who have this problem.
Just make sure that you do this at your same seat position and the
stock C5 seats are at there lowest.....don"t think the after market
seats have a lowering adjuster.
Very sweet! Damn, you guys are going to bankrupt me with all the possiblities for mods. That's especially nice cause my *** is tired and aches. What kind of costs and are they power adjustable?
