First off, I have to say a HUGE Thank You to JackJ For those of you not familiar with this member, he has the red Vette famous for the American flag on its rear facia. Well, a while back I acquired a Design Specialties kit from another member, limited installation hardware, no instructions. Jack being a kind and patient man helped me. He took his own kit apart, photographed each piece, emailed them to me and called me on the phone to walk me through the iinstall. After fabricating a couple of pieces I needed....I'm finally finished. But I could not have done it without the JackJ or CF So without further delay ... my chrome heat is finally beating .... BTW, I just ordered the alternator cover. Someone just wrote a "God Bless this Forum" thread. I have to say, God bless it's members! Have a great weekend everyone.

That is what makes Corvette ownership such a positive experience...not only being able to drive a great car, but also the great people!

BTW Design Specialties makes a great product! Too bad they closed.

Whoa. Almost a shame to put the hood down and hide that away.

Believe me ... I keep the hppd up as muchas possible. My friends/neighbors are probably sick of seeing me polishing and dusting the engine bay by now. My neighbor's 10 yr old daughter asked me, " Is that all you ever do? Wash and clean you car?" I said I also drive it and look like this

I have 'em sitting in box for a rainy day....or maybe thinking about sending them to a MSG owner? Just so you know, the heat became a little issue (only on the drivers side for some reason). My buddy suggested maybe insulating it. What do you think they could fetch on the open market?
