Default Basani X-pipe?

To get or not to get. Just got Stingers installed. What will a Basani X-pipe do for me? Suggestions or comments?

I have a Bassani X-pipe with Borla Dual Stingers on my '02 MN6 coupe and like the sound a lot. I put the X-pipe on at the same time as the Stingers so I cannot compare without the X-pipe. There is still some popping on decelleration but I think it's OK, not over-the-top. Someone must have added one at a time to their car.
It's such a personal issue with who likes the after-market exhaust sound. I guess if you change the exhaust, expect a different sound with each brand.

X-pipe will reduce the popping noise on deceleration and add a few hp. Much more significant with an M6 than an A4.

Good topic! I was thinking about this as well after recently installing the Stingers. Will the Bassani bolt right up to the Stingers? Any welding required? Is it a larger diameter? How much of a horsepower gain gain be had?

I've got a Magna-Flow X-Pipe w/ the GHL, MN6. There was no gurgle (Abby calls it "popple") on the stock system.

Now I'm burning oil at a greater rate cuz I love the sound of the downshift. I get plenty of gurgle (popple) w/ this system but I drove a Z06 w/ H-Pipe in Bowling Green and 2 tip Borla. He had headers and the car sounded nasty wicked naughty with much more POPPLE!

So I'm going to strap on LG Long Tubes w/ no Cats this fall. Comes w/ it's own X-Pipe and my Magna-Flow will be in parts for sale.

By then I should get some nasty wicked naughty POPPLE!

I just did the GHL Bullets and Magnaflow X-Pipe. Quite a bit of gurgling, so I can't imagine the sound without the x-pipe. I wish the GHL's were a little louder, but I do appreciate the silent cruising on the highway. Just gonna have to add headers. Looking at the Kooks who now apparently have their own highflow cats. There's gonna be a lot of X-Pipes for sale.

I have a Bassani X-Pipe with my B&B's and the x-pipe sure eliminated a good portion of the popping and interior resonance I had.

I have the Bassani X-pipe with 2-tip Stingers and love the combo. Mine is an A4 and there is no popping at all.
